News - Earthquake on the Island of Nemesia

Desperately Seeking Disaster Tourists!!! :-D

The Nemesian Geological Association (NGA) based in Skara Brae has announced the major earthquake it has been warning about for some time is imminent!! According to scientific findings, it is expected that the quake will commence on Saturday, July 18, 7 pm, Munich time (UTC/GMT: 5 pm).

The shocks will be enormous (according to NGA-Scale: "most severe and staggering") and cause audible disruptions on the entire planet. However, physical effects are expected only on the island of Nemesia.

Remarkably, scientists do not expect damage in spite of the enormous force of the quake. On the contrary, they anticipate only benefits from the projected major geological shifts on Nemesia.

There are no warnings regarding staying on the island of Nemesia during the incident. Scientists actually RECOMMEND a trip to the area of the catastrophe. Dr. Shakin Planit comments: "Adventurers will experience the quake as THE event of the year 1413! This does not take place every year - even on such an instable planet such as ours. An entire island is going to be literally turned upside down. We also are predicting a positive influence on the economy!"

• Topographic surveyors and cartographers are standing by to draw new magical maps immediately after the event. Certain maps even will be available already during the quake, and will be given to present adventurers instantly.
• It has emerged that - for mysterious reasons - major reforms and modifications to the pawnshop cost structure will be undertaken after the quake.
• Travelling to Skara Brae will be much more convenient.
• It also is currently being rumoured that the Bank at last will open business quite soon!
• We all should expect further changes to come ...

Katastrophentouristen verzweifelt gesucht!!! :-D

Die Nemesianische Geologische Gesellschaft (Nemesian Geological Association/NGA) mit Sitz in Skara Brae hat bekanntgegeben, dass das bereits vor einiger Zeit angekündigte schwere Erdbeben kurz bevorsteht.

Gemäß den Erkenntnissen der Wissenschaftler rechnen sie fest damit, dass das Beben nach unserer Zeitrechnung am Samstag, 18.07., um 19:00h Münchner Zeit beginnen wird (UTC/GMT: 17:00h).

Das Beben wird so gewaltig sein (gemäß NGA-Skala: "ziemlich heftig und deftig"), dass es zwar auf dem gesamten Planeten spürbar und vernehmbar sein wird. Auswirkungen wird es aber nur auf die Insel Nemesia haben.

Außergewöhnlich ist, dass die Wissenschaftler trotz der gewaltigen Stärke des Bebens nicht mit Schäden rechnen. Ganz im Gegenteil erwarten sie trotz erheblicher geographischer Veränderungen auf Nemesia nur Vorteile.

Es wird ausdrücklich NICHT davor gewarnt, sich während des Ereignisses auf der Insel Nemesia aufzuhalten. Die Forscher empfehlen sogar explizit den Besuch des Katastrophengebiets! Dr. Shakin Planit dazu: "Gerade für Abenteurer ist das Beben DAS Ereignis des Jahres 1413! Auch auf einem so instabilen Planeten wie dem unseren kommt sowas nicht jedes Jahr vor. Eine ganze Insel wird buchstäblich auf den Kopf gestellt. Wir rechnen fest damit, dass sich das auch wirtschaftlich positiv auswirken wird."

• Landvermesser und Kartographen stehen bereit, um sofort nach bzw. sogar teilweise bereits während des Bebens neue magische Karten zu erstellen und sofort unter den anwesenden Abenteurern zu verteilen.

• Den letzten Gerüchten zufolge soll außerdem in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft die Bank endlich öffnen.
